History

Vineyard controls are intensified at the end of September to determinate the exact time for the Harvest. The picking is made by hand, avoiding the hottest hours during the collection and the transport of the grapes.

Traditional at the vineyards, innovating in wine-making. We have five small stainless-steel vats which allows us to divide the harvest by parcels, depending on the ripeness of the grapes of each estate. Fermentations take place at a controlled temperature, with long macerations to obtain all the colour, aromas and flavours from the fruit.

Once the fermentations are finished, the wine will develop in American and French oak barrels made by Murua. The wine selected to be Cantiga Crianza will rest in two years-old barrels for 15 months, while the Cantiga Tempranillo will stay during five months in three years-old barrels. Later on, the wine will round up in bottle before being released.
